Most people find it funny that I'm terribly allergic to cats considering I adore them so much I had one tattooed (on my back) for my 23rd birthday. That was already over a month ago and now that fall is here it's a mere two weeks until my return to the epicenter of most things I consider sacred; London, England. With so many travel plans this year, I haven't allowed myself much spending on clothes, etc but (obv) continue to lust over a never ending list of beautiful creations, at the top of which is this pair of majestic cat tapestry Lita boots from Jeffrey Campbell. I have a feeling these might be classified as horrendously tacky by more refined members of the fashion community, but I can't get over the splendor of them.

The A/W 2011 Miu Miu campaign includes some of the sauciest images I've seen in awhile, and not just due to the inclusion of pizza! My favorite bit is those gold shoes against the green grass (last image), but it's hard to pick a stand out from among the footwear in this collection. Below are just a few of the glittering highlights.

The way I see it, these cut out platforms c/o Jeffrey Campbell are nothing short of dreamy. I'm endlessly curious as to what they would feel like on one's foot, and would love to even try them on. None of my favorite shoes posses any sort of arch support as it is, so it's not like I'd be missing much. Right?

Rachel Antonoff's shoe collaboration with Bass and the accompanying lookbook featuring Tennessee Thomas make me want to weep (tears of joy), skip through a meadow, and then perhaps sing a duet with a bluebird. I'm feeling particularly emotional about that pink patent, which is an unquestionably perfect colour. I do get excited about things in life that aren't clothing related, but most of them are food and most of that food is cheese.

Gravity Pope is a beautiful Canadian shoe boutique with only three locations in this gigantic country, the closest of which I have been known to travel 6 hours by car in order to visit. They carry product from all over the world and do the best buying from a number of my favorite lines (see: Opening Ceremony, Repetto, Chie Mihara). The website features their entire stock and should not be investigated unless you have an hour or two to spare.

Nothing like gorgeous young people in beautiful clothes to cheer me up when I'm feeling blue (or slightly murderous, as the case may be). Opening Ceremony's Fall/Winter '10 lookbook is a manifestation of sheer excellence; I'm particularly entranced by the footwear in the first two photos.

Similar to half the universe, I really love a lot of what Alexa Chung wears. I try not to reblog much of this type of thing simply because a million others do it better than me, but those velvet shorts (part of her amazing collection for Madewell) are too good for words. It saddens me that such fabrics all but disappear in warm weather, though perhaps these floral booties could remedy that.

The prospect of these Opening Ceremony booties with an all black ensemble is enough to bring a petite tear to my eye. I've become completely enamoured with the ankle socks that are showing up everywhere these days, which I do believe the above would be beautifully suited for.

In other bow adorned footwear developments, I was about to hail these sandals as the best I have come across in a long while, prior to discovering they are from Little Marc, which is Jacobs' line for 0-12 year olds. This is reminiscent of the time I spotted what was the most absolutely perfect pink and white party dress I had ever seen in my entire existence, possibly including past lives, and was staring moon-eyed with my nose pressed up against the shop window for quite some time before realizing it was a children's boutique. I think my taste in fashion may have a lot to do with my temptation to smirk whenever I'm referred to as a 'woman' (which admittedly isn't often). Then again that may be entirely due to my fondness for poop jokes, but who's to say?

Nothing (including free speech or indoor plumbing) is better than a wedge, when done right. I have a huge boner for these.

I've bought 67980893984535234 pairs of wedge/platforms in the past few months, and yet the Acne Atacoma still give me heart palpitations. The above are from 80%20 and pretty dreamy, even if they don't give a comparable 12cm (!) rise. They've served me well all winter as they're so comfy; I can walk long distances, dance for hours, kick the neighbour's satanic toddler in the face, and accomplish any other daily activities in them with great ease.

On the subject of all things frivolous and/or fashionable, I've jumped on the tumblr bandwagon despite my (previously held) belief that it encourages the downfall of creativity on the internets. Such may not be the case after all but the absolute last thing I need is yet another outlet for online fuckery, so follow me and stay tuned for the consequent failing of my university degree!
