I feed the pigeons, I sometimes feed the sparrows too

Chloë Sevigny's latest collaboration with Opening Ceremony for her FW 2013 collection is inspired by '60s protester aesthetic and everything about it is completely brilliant. Her presentation of the clothes, shoes, and accessories took place during NYFW earlier this week and I am over the moon about every single one of these pieces. My absolute favorites are that fluffy blue coat and the platform sneakers paired with the gingham dress! Chloë took part in modelling her creations and looked sleek as ever in black and navy aka the best colour combo ever. The nineties Britpop interpretation of mod styles in this collection (see: striped tights, corduroy blazer with collared shirt, printed miniskirt) are nearly as dear to me as Blur's "Parklife," which I'm listening to while writing this post.

Those 'protest' signs are one of the best things I've seen in ages.

Chloe is awesome. I love the 60s political element, and I love the fact that she cares about the presentation of her clothes as well as the actual pieces in her collection. I feel as though other designers should follow suit!
