the weather outside is frightful

I was beyond thrilled to find this coat (which has already earned me countless Little Red Riding Hood taunts) on a recent trip to Value Village for a mere $20!!! It might just be heavy enough to function suitably in -30C, which is only an added bonus considering how perfect the black velvet bow adorned collar is. Surviving in a climate comparable to that of Siberia (srsly though), it's near impossible to stay warm or at least avoid hypothermia during winter months; the faux fur accessories from asos are among my coveted winter pieces at the moment. No coincidence that the most ridiculous(ly amazing) ones are featured first.

No way, what a bargain! That coat is gorgeous, you got a real steal there.

Loving the faux fur too, I just bought a leopard print fur trapper hat with ears from Topshop, can't wait to wear it!

such a perfectly adorable find. i have such a thing for little fur collars this winter! i've started making my own - tons of fun - though bits of fur seem to constantly be floating round my house now.

That coat is amazing! And I'm loving faux fur everything at the moment too - luckily the charity shops have been kind to me recently and I've scored several faux fur collars and a cossack hat - yes!

I've only just stumbled across your blog but I love it already :)
